Team White defeated Team Green 7-3 in the Class of 2015 All-Star Game

Laxachusetts and Nobles (MA) goalie Teddy Strzetelski stood out for Team White.

DEVENS, Mass. – The Legacy Lacrosse Invitational Class of 2015 All-Star game featured some of the events top uncommitted players in the Class of 2015. The game also proved that defense and goaltending can shine in All-Star game formats.

In a closely contested match-up it was the White team who pulled away and came out on top to defeat the Green squad by a score of 7-3.

Goaltending was the story for both teams as there were numerous highlight-film saves from both teams’ respective keepers.

The White squad was led by goalies Teddy Strzetelski (Laxachusetts and Nobles- MA) and Dylan Moser (LI Sting and Poly Prep County Day -NY) while the Green team received strong play from goalies Jack Myers (LB3 Philly Elite and Wissachickon –PA) and Trevor Scollins (Laxachusetts and Marshfield).

Strzetelski was especially impressive from the start of the game as the tall and rangy keeper showed impressive versatility, making numerous difficult saves.

Bob Pelton (Titanium Elite and Forrest Hills Northern – MI) provided the offensive surge for Team White.

Offensively the White team received strong play from midfielder Bob Pelton (Titanium Elite and Forrest Hills Northern – MI). Pelton scored twice as he showed an array of moves and aggressive dodging going to the cage.

The White team also received strong offensive games from midfielder Yuta Murata (West Coast Starz and JSerra Catholic – CA), attack Connor Waldron (Laxachusetts and Darien –CT), and midfielder Jackson Monin (Team Carolina).

Cody Ward Cody Ward (Evolve, Holy Cross - St. Catharine’s – Ontario Canada) was everywhere for Team Green.

The Green team was led by midfielder and faceoff man Cody Ward (Evolve, Holy Cross - St. Catharine’s – Ontario Canada). Ward did a great job at the faceoff X and also showed off some flashy and effective play in transtion and in the settled situations.

The Green team also received strong play from Evolve teammates midfield/attack Kyle Killen (Evolve and Ontario Canada) and Nick Chaykowski (Evolve and Bradford Ontario Canada).

Midfielder David Hammes (True IL, Glencoe IL), LSM Timmy Ross (LB3 Philly Elite and Central Bucks South) and attack Luke Spence (Headstrong, Springfield, PA) also stood out for Team Green on the evening.

Both teams concluded their opening day of the Legacy Lacrosse Invitational Tournament by showcasing their talents in front of an impressive crowd of college coaches.
